Scholarships
SAITM provides a number of full- and partial- scholarships who it recognises as deserving on grounds of their attitude and aptitude for studies and the situation of family finances to afford private sector education.
This includes:
  a. Chairman’s Scholarships (full scholarship)
  b. Partial Scholarships (for further details, please contact Student Information Centre)

Faculty of Engineering : Tuition Fee waiver Scholarship
SAITM offers eight full scholarships at each intake to qualified undergraduate students to pursue degree programs conduct by the faculty of engineering. Scholarship intends to cover the total cost of the tuition fee payable to SAITM for the entire duration of the regular degree program, which is 8 semesters in 4 academic years. The objective of this scholarship is to support qualified prospective candidates who require financial aid for their tertiary education.

Special consideration is given to candidates who have demonstrated outstanding talents in extracurricular activities in national and internal level. In order to continue the scholarship for all 4 academic years candidate must obtain at least 3.00 CGPA and should demonstrate acceptable personal integrity. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the retraction of the scholarship award. Furthermore, under any circumstance the scholarship will not be continued for more than eight semesters of the study.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible to apply for the SAITM Tuition Fee Wavier Scholarship candidate must be;
□ A Sri Lankan Citizen
□ Have a minimum of z -score of 1.2 in local G.C.E.A/L in physical science scheme OR Equivalent in London,
   Cambridge or any other foreign examination
□ A maximum of 20 years of age as at the closing date of the application

How to apply:
Candidates must submit a dully filled scholarship application form to SAITM together with the enrolment application to the SAITM, admissions division at the time of registration.

Student Loan Facilities
Bank of Ceylon (BoC) and National Savings Bank (NSB) offers loan facilities at concessionary rates with a grace period of 04 years to registered students of SAITM.
