Important notice for International Students
Medical Test
Applicants must undergo with a medical examination before the commencement of the program
Visa process
This process will take approximately 1- 2 months and should be handled by the Sri Lankan High Commission/ Embassy in your country
Interview processes
All applicants are required to face for an interview with the faculty board after applying for the program. Skype interviews can be arranged for international students if necessary.
Orientation
This is an informative, interactive program run by respective faculties to assist with your transitions in to life at SAITM.
Registration Process
Students selected for admission should submit the following documents to be registered as a student;
a) GCE Advanced Level and Ordinary Level Examination certificates issued by the Commissioner General of Examinations (statement issued for use outside Sri Lanka) certificate by an authorized officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Entry qualifications for the degree programs as complied with Sri Lankan University Grants Commission’s minimum requirement, at G.C.E. Advanced Level examination conducted by the Ministry of Higher education in Sri Lanka or an equivalent foreign examination.

Applicants with foreign educational qualifications must obtain result equalization certificate from Department of Examination of Sri Lanka by applying with their results sheets/ transcript as it will be sent to the Ministry of Higher Education in Sri Lanka for a review.

Final decision regarding the eligibility for the degree programs of the foreign applicants will be taken by the Ministry of Higher Education, Sri Lanka.
b) Certified copy of the Birth Certificate and National Identity Card / Passport
c) Valid Passport and Visa
d) Personal data form
e) Payment of registration fee, 1st Installment with taxes as stipulated in the letter of award.
f) Obtain insurance cover for payment of fee
g) Medical certificate of fitness (physical and mental) to enroll and follow the course once the student fulfills the registration process; he/she will be given a student registration number which will enable him/her to obtain library membership and all other facilities available for students of SAITM.
