Minimum Requirement for Entry | Faculty of Pharmacy and Allied Health

• 2 Passes for G.C.E.(Advanced Level) with at least credit pass in English in Ordinary Level
• G.C.E.(Ordinary Level) with working experience of minimum of 6 months in Pharmaceutical industry and Marketing


• Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Product Management

    Learning Outcome:
    To develop skilled, qualified drug and health product specialists and practitioners to deliver
    rational pharmacological and pharmaceutical knowledge to the industry.

    Duration: 2 years
    Weekend classes are available for working professionals



• Diploma in Pharmacy Practice

    Learning Outcome:

    To achieve advanced knowledge in drug delivery and dispensing
    The diploma holders are eligible to continue on a degree pathway with the proposed
    Bachelor of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences (B.Pharm) or be a registered pharmacist
    by passing the National Examination for Pharmacists Certificate conducted by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)

    Duration: 1 year
    Weekend classes are available for working professionals
